Chateau Chaubinet Blanc Bordeaux 2009
For something different than a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, try Chateau Chaubinet. A classic single varietal Bordeaux Blanc, it is pale lemon in color, with subtle but present citrus and tropical notes on the nose.
It is dry yet round on the palate, finishing with bright acidity. Great as an accompaniment to cheese plates, or good paired with seafood, chicken, or even a hearty soup.
