Very unique Herzog creation as the winery took some of their best Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and aged them exclusively on French oak that imparts flavors of vanilla and chocolate and even some clove and spice.
It's aromas is reminiscent of cooked and raw agave, an obvious vanilla taste, and some other spices such as clove and cinnamon. Hazelnut, chocolate and tobacco hints are also found. It has a unique balance which is exquisite to taste.

Cazcanes takes a distinctive approach to produce hand-crafted tequila from start to finish.
30 - 50 years vine age. All wines are hand-harvested and sorted during harvest, maceration lasts 2 or 3 week. Fermentation takes place in cement tank. Wines are aged on average for 15 months in barrel. No new barrels - barrels are 1 or 2 years old. Wines are not filtered nor fined.
A blend of 70% Monastrell and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 24 months in French and American oak. The wine exhibits a glass-coating opaque purple color. The nose is expressive with pain grille, underbrush, brier, minerality, blueberry and blackberry fruit.
