This is a lovely estate, one of the last remaining properties in the Mérignac gravel area, lying next door to Haut Brion and Pape-Clément. The name Caillou refers to pebbles, reflecting the fact that this was once riverbed, when the river Garonne overflowed millions of years ago.
Inspired by the vibrancy of Jamaica, its land and the joyful nature of its people, 8 year old reserve is our most versatile expression of aged rum, revealing aromas of spicy fruit and oak, followed by hints of honey, vanilla and our signature orange peel note.

Laphroaig 10 Year Sherry Cask is a rich and smoky single malt, finished in Oloroso sherry casks for a full-bodied and complex character. Aromas of Manuka honey, smoked bacon, clove, and pine tar set the stage for a palate brimming with treacle, toffee, dark chocolate, and rich peat smoke.
The bouquet is intense with vibrant herbal, spicy, and fruit-forward notes. Very well structured, full bodied, quite soft, and balanced with pronounced tannins. A wine with a great personality and long aftertaste.
This "summer Chardonnay" shows bright tropical flavors highlighted by a touch of French oak. Ripe citrus, summer fruit, peach, and pear, aligned with a touch of vanilla and smoke; partially barrel fermented.
The 2010 vintage has delivered a beautifully fragrant wine with layered aromas of blackberry, cassis, cinnamon cake, anise, cardamom, tobacco leaf, and mocha. On the palate, the entry is soft and smooth with blueberry and bittersweet chocolate flavors, as well as notes of red currant, cedar, and sweet spice.
A rich garnet color with a ruby edge, the wine opens to reveal lifted fruit aromas of bright strawberry and jammy fruit, mocha, and vanilla, along with toasty oak notes. Expressive boysenberry, blackberry, dark cherry, juicy strawberry, and toasty mocha flavors lend complexity and depth on the palate.
“The Brooklynites 3.0,” our third orange wine, is made from Gewurztraminer grapes grown in Los Carneros, Napa Valley. The orange hue of this wine comes from the skin contact and maceration during fermentation; the same process that gives red wine its color, tannins and also contributes to its flavor.
The wine has a deep ruby-red hue that is framed in rich crimson. Aromas of black cherry and plum, surrounded by roasted coffee beans and vanillin oak accents. The entry is powerful and lush with flavors of bing cherry, blueberry, and cocoa.
It's totally natural, using OCIA certified rice harvested from the Sacramento Valley with absolutely no preservatives, no alcohol, and no sulfites added. It is brewed under the direction of Takara's master brewer combining the most traditional methods with modern technology to arrive at the Ginjo grade.
Oakley Road Zinfandel is planted on the same sandy slopes as the Oakley Road Mataro. These vines, planted around 1900, are on their own roots. They are truly bush vines coming out of the sand with multiple arms like hydra.
This wine, though possessing the characteristic suaveness of the site, does possess a trace more density than years past–likely due to the additional thinning passes we made. It was also an exceptional year for Mataro in a generally very strong year at the site, and the variety makes up over 30% of the blend.
