Pago Del Vicario 50/50 2012

This wine has followed a long-extended maceration and barrel ageing using a diverse range of barriques, however these were predominantly French. The highest-quality Caucasian barrels were also chosen, due to their ability to respect the fruit characteristics of the wine as well as to transfer complex floral notes.

Pago del Vicario vineyard is located 600 meters above sea level, on the banks of the Guadiana River. It covers an area of ​​130 hectares of vineyards enabling the harvest of all our grape varieties, the basis of which are the native grapes of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano along with the red varietals Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot as well as with the white ones Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
