Castello di Querceto Chianti Classico Il Picchio Riserva 2012
Blend | Italy
Deep and brilliant ruby-red color. Delicate, elegant, and harmonious bouquet. Dry palate, remarkable body with great character.
95% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo. Castello di Querceto is named after the little Oak Forest in which it is nestled. Since 1897 the estate, located on a high-altitude hill, produces wines of unique character and excellent quality. Produced from the single vineyard "Il Picchio," which means woodpecker. Delightfully dry and expertly balanced. Limited production in exceptional year.
