100% Pinot Noir. Casas del Bosque, established in 1933 by Juan Cuneo Solari, is located 43.5 miles from Santiago, the capital of Chile, and 18.6 miles from one of the principal ports of Chile, Valparaiso. Chosen for its location where great forests of ancient pine and olive plants and small, abandoned, white adobe houses once lay, this place also inspired the Casas del Bosque (or "Houses of the Forest") name. As one of the most prestigious family-owned boutique vineyards of Chile, they are recognized internationally for the high quality of their wines produced from grapes grown in their own unique vineyards in the Casablanca Valley. Currently, Casas del Bosque has 573 productive acres of white and red vines. Each one of their creations has a seal of uniqueness given by their terroir, which combines optimal soil conditions, climate, and vine handling to yield wines with individual character and personality.
