Campo alla Sughera Adeo Bolgheri Rosso 2004
Tasting notes: dark ruby color with gingery gleam. A highly complex bouquet of mature fruit (blackberries, cassis), spices and marmalade. The wine is full and harmonious with elegant tannins and a long-lasting aftertaste. Gastronomy: It splendidly combines with meat, game dishes, aged cheeses and dishes of creative Tuscan cuisine. Serving: served cool at 16-18C. Ageing potential: 10-15 years.
Vinification: Grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation and maceration are carried out for 10 days with intensive lifting and pressing in steel tanks under temperature control. Ageing: Separate maturation for 12 months in French oak barrels of 225 (2nd, 3rd year).The final blend is conducted before bottling. The wine then matures in bottle for a minimum period of 4 months.
