Its nose is complex and very fruity over aromas of red, somwhat-ripe forest fruit and balsamic notes with slight secondary toast aromas from the barrel. It has balance with good structure and smooth, round tannins. You can drink it with Mediterranean dishes, meats, or alone as an aperitif. Best consumed at 61–64 degrees F.
