Tempranillo (Tinta-del Pais, de Toro, Roriz, Tinto Fino), Spain
Grouped product items

Out of stock

Intense and clean red color with purple and bigarreau-cherry hues; also shades of dark crimson. Its nose is complex and very fruity over aromas of red, somwhat-ripe forest fruit and balsamic notes with slight secondary toast aromas from the barrel. It has balance with good structure and smooth, round tannins. You can drink it with Mediterranean dishes, meats, or alone as an aperitif. Best consumed at 61–64 degrees F.

100% Tempranillo. Bodegas Thesaurus is a project of the Martin Verastegui family in the Ribera de Duero. This winemaker family, since 1930, have a great tradition in the Denomination of Origin elaborating, bottling, and aging wines since the beginning of the regulatory council. The project culminated in the construction of a warehouse for 200,000 bottles, linking the best vinification techniques for red wines while taking advantage of the best climate that provides La Milla de Oro ("The Golden Mile") to the Ribera de Duero vineyards. Manually harvested and selected, controlled. Alcoholic fermentation at 82 degrees F in stainless-steel vats and oak. Aged 12 months in French and American oak. Conserve in a fresh and dry place, in horizontal position.
