Bodegas Faustino VII Tinto 2018
The distinctive portrait on the front label depicts Marten Pepijn, a famous portrait painter, teacher at The St. Luke of Antwerp, and friend of Rubens Faustino. Aged for four months in American oak barrels. Pair with luncheon meats, beans, beans, fish with seafood, tuna belly, or any kind of meat.
100% Tempranillo. Established in 1861 by Eleuterio Martinez Arzok, who set out on a journey selling his Rioja wines direct from the barrel, working from the back of a horse-drawn cart. In the late 1950s, Eleuterio's equally adventurous descendant, Faustino Martinez, launched the Faustino label. Bodegas Faustino is located in Oyon, Rioja Alavesa, Spain. It has earned a world-wide reputation for the quality of its Rioja. Owning 1,606 acres of carefully tended vineyards, Faustino is virtually self sufficient in producing some of its best wines. Located in the upper part of Rioja Alavesa, the vineyards enjoy the best geographical and climatic conditions needed to produce the highest-quality wines.
