Black Stallion Estate Winery, established in 2007, lies tucked along the scenic Silverado Trail in Napa Valley. The name "Black Stallion" pays homage to the rich history of the 32-acre estate which was once home to the Silverado Horseman's Center. The gracious, hand-hewn stone building once featured an indoor riding track and remnants of the original 36 horse stalls are still visible today. It now houses a state-of-the-art winery designed specifically for small-lot winemaking—perfect for handcrafting boutique-style blends from some of the best vineyards in Napa Valley. Black Stallion takes small lots of chardonnay grapes from select blocks and marries them with a range of traditional Burgundian oak barrels. The result is a delightfully balanced chardonnay of elegance and harmony with soft oak accents to highlight the luscious fruit flavors
