Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2012
Aromas of blackberry, cassis and sarsaparilla are complemented by spice notes. A note of sweet mint leads into a ripe fruit core full of blackberry and currant flavors. A pleasing finish accents the full body and smooth tannins. A small percentage of Petit Verdot was added to the blend, contributing additional aromatics and elongating the finish.
99% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Petit Verdot. In 1875 the Beringer brothers, Jacob and Frederick, came to Napa Valley from Germany with the goal of making wines that compared to the best in Europe.
