The cool climates of the Sonoma Coast and Carneros regions are ideal for Pinot Noir because the growing conditions of each promote deep and complex flavors
Cool fog and sea breezes off San Pablo Bay influence winegrowing in these areas. Canopy development is reduced by the wind, resulting in lower yields and creating more concentrated flavors in the fruit. Seven vineyards are represented in this blend, resulting in a balanced and complete wine. Choosing the best sites for our Sonoma Coast Pinot allows us to capture the depth of Carneros along with the aromas of the Russian River Valley.
