This wine aged for 6 months in French oak barrels. An intense purple color. Bouquet with aromas of ripe fruit such as blueberry, cherry, and blackberry, along with tobacco and nuts. On the palate is complexity, great body, gentle tannins, and a long finish. Serve with white or red meats, spiced fishes, pastas, or cheeses.
