Jungano is the local dialect name of Guingano, an ancient, small town where Azienda Agricola San Salvatore is located. Hints of ripe plum jam and spices carefully measured with clove and cinnamon. In the mouth the wine is soft with a long, persistent finish.

100% Aglianico. Azienda Agricola San Salvatore is located in the midst of the Cilento National Park, at the foot of Giungano, a medieval village in the Campania region of southern Italy. They take pride in cultivating their vineyards without synthetic products or genetically modified organisms. Instead, San Salvatore uses biological processes and biodynamic preparations like horn dung and fertilizers created from the the dung of the water buffaloes that live on the property. In fact, the company's slogan pays tribute to these water buffaloes: "I've seen a buffalo through the grapevines and I've drank wine. I've seen a buffalo through the grapevines and it has seen me." In addition to these eco-friendly practices, San Salvatore also has a solar-powered farm.
