80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc. Azienda Agricola Marcato, founded in 1904, is located in Ronca in the Valle d'Alpone, Veneto region. In the modern cellar of about 7,000 sq. m., all stages of production take place—from the processing of grapes to bottling. In about 136 acres of vineyards, Marcato produces about 5,000 tons of grapes, distributed in three DOCs: Lessini Durello, Soave, and Colli Berici. For more than 40 years, Marcato has been the birthplace of the Lessini Durello spumante produced using the "metodo classico." It offers the young wines of Vicenza under the La Giareta brand, young Veronese wines with the I Prandi brand, restricting the Marcato brand to the best selections of its own production.
