To the Shor family, wine is only a matter of tradition. The family's winery, Arza Winery, was established in 1847 in the old city of Jerusalem by Mordecai Avraham Shor, who emigrated from Russia. Since then it was passed down, from father to son, generation to generation, continuing a family tradition of love and devotion to the nurturing of the vineyard and wine production. They produce Kiddush and many high quality varietal wines which place them among the leading wineries in Israel. In 2005, Philip Lichtenstein joined the Shor family to help modernize the winery. His expertise has significantly improved the quality and methods of Arza's wine production.
