Alban Vineyards Reva Syrah 2014

The grapes that go into Reva are 97-100% Syrah with a balance of Viognier. The wines grapes are from nonpartisan sandy soils and parts of a farm that are white and very alkaline. This blend makes for a wine with dark shading, concentrated kinds of dark fruits, fennel, and graphite. One of the most distinctive notes of Reva is one of a kind iodine and clamshell aroma that is unlike any other Syrahs from Alban Vineyards. Alban Vineyards is the main America winery and vineyard built up only for Rhone assortments. Imagined when there were for all intents and purposes just two "flavors" of wine delivered in the U.S., they set out to present wine grapes that would offer oenophiles another universe of conceivable outcomes. Spearheading Roussanne, Grenache Noir, and Viognier to oblige fastidiously chosen clones of Syrah, Alban Vineyards has guided customers and makers to the gigantic capability of Rhone varietals in California.
