Uniquely aged in charred bourbon barrels, 1000 Stories Mendocino Country Zinfandel boasts a deep, rich purple color. Fragrant blackberry jam, plum, spice, and toasty oak aromas with sumptuous black fruit flavors accented by enticing clove and vanilla tones. The palate is full with ripe tannins, big black and red fruits, followed by an array of spices. The wine finishes with a touch of warmth that lingers on and on. 85% Zinfandel, 13% Petite Sirah, 2% Syrah. Vinted and bottled by 1000 Stories Vineyards (Legally Fetzer Vineyards). Fetzer Vineyards, founded in 1968 in beautiful Mendocino County, has been a pioneer of winemaking in California.
