This Pinot Noir is sourced from some of the oldest, own-rooted plantings at Bien Nacido. Over time, they believe these vines have gained purchase in these soils and offer up a truly singular expression of this classic variety .
Planted by forth generation farmers Stephen & Robert Miller in 1973, this singular vineyard is greatly influenced by the fog off of the nearby Pacific ocean, resulting in one of the longest, coolest growing seasons of any vineyard site in California. As stewards of this vineyard, they are humbled by this piece of land, and feel privileged to add our their interpretation to the existing anthology of Bien Nacido Vineyards-designated wines.
