The wine is produced from the winery's finest vineyards: cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, and mourvedre grapes. Regal cabernet sauvignon grapes are grown in the Kerem Ben-Zimra. The 33-year-old vineyards produce 500 kilo per dunam. Manual harvesting takes place in the middle of the night. In a special and festive atmostphere, the grapes are havested with the help of those beloved by the winery—coming from all over the country and the world for this purpose. The grapes go through a stringent sorting before crushing and treatment. The wine is matured in 70% French, 30% American wood barrels for a period of 36 months. The outcome is a great, rich, full-bodied, and flawless wine with depth and many layers. An intricate, pleasurable wine, with a maturing ability for many years.
